Design review for HTML prototypes, without the screenshot ping-pong
You made a prototype in HTML, by hand or with an AI tool, and the feedback is scattered across emails, chat threads and annotated screenshots. Ollav gives the prototype one link. Everyone comments on the page itself, and each new version keeps the same link and the earlier comments.
Who this is for
Designers, design engineers and agencies who share working HTML prototypes (AI-generated or hand-built) with clients and teammates and want feedback tied to the thing being discussed.
How a review round works
1. Upload the file
Drop one self-contained HTML file (up to 15 MB) on Ollav, or have your coding agent publish it. You get a link. There is no deploy and no hosting to set up. New to single-file output? See single-file HTML builds.
2. Invite reviewers
The document is private to your workspace by default and not indexed by search engines. Invite a client or teammate to a document as a guest. Guests are free on every plan.
3. Collect pinned comments
Reviewers sign in, click the element they mean and pin a comment, or react with an emoji. Because everyone signs in, every comment has a name on it, which makes feedback easier to trace and sign off. See how pinned comments work.
4. Ship the next version
Publish the revised file as a new version. The link stays the same and earlier comments are kept, so reviewers can see what was raised before and what was resolved. If an AI agent made the prototype, it can read, reply to and resolve the comments itself over MCP or the REST API (Claude Code, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Codex all work).
When something else fits better
- You're designing, not reviewing code. For layouts, components and flows before any code exists, review in Figma. See Figma comments for code prototypes.
- Your client won't create an account. Ollav reviewers sign in. If anonymous comments matter more than named ones, dot. or Markup.io may suit you better.
- You're reviewing a live site or many pages. Ollav reviews one uploaded file at a time. BugHerd is built for feedback on a deployed site.
- You need PDFs, images or mixed material reviewed. Ollav hosts HTML only.
FAQ
Do my clients need to pay?
No. Guest reviewers are free on every plan and never count as paid seats.
Do clients have to sign in?
Yes. Reviewers sign in as workspace members or invited guests. The trade-off is that every comment is attributed to a person, and by default a document isn't open to anyone who happens to find the link.
What happens to the comments when I upload a new version?
The link stays the same, every version is kept and earlier comments are kept with them.
Can I review a prototype made with an AI tool?
Yes, as long as it's one self-contained HTML file up to 15 MB. Prototypes from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex and similar tools work, as do hand-written pages and single-file builds from a bundler.
Is the prototype public?
By default it's private to your workspace and not indexed by search engines. Each document has its own visibility setting, and you can share a single document with an outside reviewer as a guest.
What does it cost?
There is a Free tier and you don't need a card to start. Pro is EUR 12 a month and Team is EUR 10 per seat a month with a minimum of 3 seats, both excluding VAT. See the pricing page.
Try it
Sign up on the Free tier, no card needed, and put your next prototype in front of a reviewer.
